Cristian is 2 Years Old!

Boy was this a busy time… we were in W-town on Cristian’s actual birthday ~ Thursday, March 18th seeing GG Fran at the hospital. She was having tests run on her lungs and heart to determine what was causing her low oxygen saturation. Thankfully her heart checked out fine. Her lungs however have some scarring from the radiation she had when she had breast cancer as well as she has what they call “pothole of the lung.” Therefore, she is set up on oxygen in the meantime and hopefully, we are praying is temporary.

On the morning of Wed.17th, Cristian got his stitches removed at CMH. Then we had lunch with dad and afterwards the boys & I headed to W. When we walked into the hospital GG Fran was at, he was understandably a little hesitant!! It was the most modern, nicest hospital I’ve seen and didn’t feel much like a hospital but nothing was going to get past Cristian at this point.

Saturday the 20th, we had a sports/balls theme for his party. He loves balls, close to tractors. The weather could have been much better, we were pretty much in a blizzard however, we were pleasantly surprised all of our party friends still made it out!! Cristian didn’t get into opening his presents like he did on his 1st birthday-think it was due to his nap schedule being messed up from being out of town. Just took more effort on our part to help him open gifts where before he did that on his own very well! He sure enjoyed the cupcakes though, which he had plenty that day!!

Getting all the kids or most of them was challenging, this was the best we could to do!

 

Then Cristian snuck in another cupcake very quietly!
